My First Few Days

I'm just getting settled in here in College Station. Things are different here. I don't have a doggy door anymore, so I must depend on The Humans to open doors to let me out. Well, this morning I got tired of waiting. I left both of them a surprise.

I have a huge backyard with some giant contraption that The Humans jump on. I've got a few great windows, one even with a sill so I can sit like a cat. One of The Humans--the one with the long hair--feeds me just about anything I want. I've been following her around a lot.
I can't really seem to make friends here yet. There are some annoying pug dogs next door that snort like pigs. I met a Border Collie at PetsMart, but she didn't want to play. One of The Humans said it wasn't nice to bite other dogs. I disagree.

The Humans sleep a lot around here. I've found a good couch for my naps, and I've gotten used to the house, I guess. Tonight, they painted my toenails with some weird liquid. One of The Humans asked, "Do you want to look like a little shit or do you want to look pretty?" I guess the stuff looks okay, but I only let them do one foot for now.

I plan to spend the rest of my evening patrolling the backyard and begging for table scraps. I might even play a little "Apple Bottom Jeans" later if I can figure out how to work the computer.
